You’ll find here some general thoughts, general likes, my DNWs, and some thoughts about the individual requests with all the selected freeforms.

I’ve selected pretty similar tags for all requests but I’ll repeat them for each request anyway and will say something about it in each fandom if needed. Though I think they are so concrete that they serve as perfect prompts as it is. And also, combine as many freeforms together as you want as it’s all various flavours of h/c.

Here’s a list of my general likes, DNWs, and some prompts for individual requests. I’d love to see the characters outside of canon or in a bit altered canon and I’m curious how this could change the dynamics between the requested characters, how it would influence their relationships and friendships and work. I tried to group the requested AUs under the individual requests into four categories: Time, Altered canon, “True” AUs and Other.

Time

Here I’d love to see the characters in a different time period though doing what they usually do. How does their work differ, how do the surroundings look?

Altered canon

Some part of the canon is altered - eg. a character suffers from Hanahaki though I can imagine that the rest of the canon can stay as it is.

“True” AUs

Here are all the classic AUs like Coffee Shop AU or even lesser used AUs like Lawyers AU… And I’d love to see how the characters would behave in this AU.

Of course, the division is not clear-cut. I’ll just mention two pairs of tags that are probably very arbitrary. Casefic x Detective AU. So I would imagine that casefic occurs in the canon of the requested fandom and the characters who are not detectives have for some reason investigate a case, though they usually don’t do that (eg. I request this in Figure Skating RPF). Whereas I imagine Detective AU as the classic AU where the characters are detectives, investigate cases… (in canon they are eg. doctors).

And the same applies to Character is a spy x Spy AU. So for the first tag I imagine canon and one of the characters we know as a doctor, figure skater etc. is also secretly a spy. And Spy AU would be the classic AU.

But don’t worry and write what you want and what you imagine under these tags.

Other

A bit different flavours of AUs - eg. the Murder on the Orient express fusion.

For / ships I’d like to clarify that I don’t need romance and kisses in every paragraph of the fic. I’d love to know that my beloved characters are in a relationship or are trying to get together but feel free to focus more on my other general likes and genres and tropes and just add this new layer of two characters being in a relationship in smaller measures. But if you want to write a whole fic about the partners panicking and preparing a wedding, I’m here for it too.

I also love hurt/comfort and will squeal in joy at whatever mention of h/c.

The first thing I’d like to point out is: I love the atmosphere of the requested books/shows. I do love the TV shows/books and I want to have moooore of it, so I usually prefer the canon-verse or some smaller (or bigger) canon divergence over alternate universe.

For / ships I’d like to clarify that I don’t need romance and kisses in every paragraph of the fic. I’d love to know that my beloved characters are in a relationship or are trying to get together but feel free to mix the romance with my other general likes or even focus more on my other general likes and genres and tropes and just add this new layer of two characters being in a relationship in smaller measures. But if you want to write a whole fic about the partners panicking and preparing a wedding, I’m here for it too.

FIAB is such an exciting exchange because you do get 10k of fic/s but unlike in FFFX you can’t be sure in which form! And the expectation and waiting alone are exciting! Will it be a 10k fic or a character analysis, a 5k fic and a newspaper article? 👀 Don’t worry, I’m prepared for everything and will love everything I’ve opted for.

And since this exchange allows for a lot of mediums, I’m curious about all the secret diaries the characters keep, letters they write, reports about cases they have to submit and what they reveal in interviews and what’s written about them in newspapers, magazines or tabloid press.

/In the last bullet point in the list of prompts I’ve included some thoughts about the medium opt-ins. The full list of opt-ins is at the beginning under each request, in the prompts I just mention a few of these opt-ins that came to my mind. But I want them allll equally./

Thank you so much for writing a fic for me. I’m so excited about this exchange! I haven’t included many concrete prompts. I think the freeform tags are a great guide, so under the individual requests I’m usually talking more generally about what I love about the series.

Freeforms:

I have used quite similar freeforms for all fandoms though they do differ a bit. So, I’ll talk about them here generally and then just list the relevant ones under every request.

• Canon-style plot - I just love the series and books I’ve requested, so I’m not that interested in coffee shop or high school AUs. I love all the case fics (be it detective or medical) just sprinkled with a bit of the characters’ relationships.
• Hurt/comfort - I love hurt/comfort. There can never be enough h/c in a fanfic. I prefer physical h/c, and injuries wayyy over illnesses. I love hurt/comfort and everything it encompasses ie. adapting to new life, permanent injuries, physical therapy…
• Slice of life - I’d love to get a sneak peek into the everyday life of my favourite characters.
• Mystery/Procedural - Case fics! Case fics! I’d love to follow the characters while they are investigating a crime or trying to diagnose a patient.
• Getting together - The majority of my requested pairs are not canon, so I’d love to know how they started dating, who was the matchmaker, how was the first kiss, whether their boss was happy about it…
• Established Relationship - I’d like to get a sneak peek into the private life of my faves.
• Fluff - All my faves are so busy with saving the patients and saving the world, have to always be alert and competent. And I’d love to see a bit of fluff in their lives. Who’ll bring them the fluff? And what is it? Visiting a cat-cafe or breakfast in bed?
• Action/Adventure - I have this freeform for SEAL Team. So that’s missions! Deployments! And for Judge Dee Mysteries and The Professionals because their investigations can be really dramatic.
• Fix-it fic - Only for Grey’s Anatomy and SEAL Team and House M.D. Yup, not that happy with Calzona’s break-up and Clay’s death. These were such bad bad decisions by the TV writers. And there’s so much room to build a totally new reality in the fic. For House, I think it got a bit off the rails after season 5… the hospitalization, the whole Cuddy/House, break-up and the car “accident” - maybe we could do without them.
• Character Development - here I’m thinking specifically about Cristina Yang from Grey’s Anatomy and House because they are just fascinating. The way they think…

I never see it as a problem in others’ letters so I have never mentioned it but the varying length dedicated to individual requests and the varying number of prompts do not mean I like some fandoms less. I love them all. These are the six most favourite ones that made it on the list! ;) For some it’s just easy to say: I love canon, please give me more; and elsewhere I have lots of thoughts (looking at you, SEAL Team producers).

I've joined MultiLingYule and would be interested in fics in German, Czech or Italian.
It would be so cool to find fellow Czech fan/s. I've just dived directly into English fandoms and fanfic places so I haven't met many Czech fans. German is my first foreign language, I use it all the time and really like the language (especially its structure, word-building possibilities and looooong attributes). I think there could be some German speaking fans of Kommissar Rex (but could be of any other requested fandom).
And about Italian ... I'm still learning so some complicated deep thoughts or wordplays could be a bit tricky for me to understand but I'll do my best! I love everything Italian.
