Dear Author, thank you so much for writing a story for me. You can find me as Claire_cz on AO3.

Here’s a list of my general likes, DNWs, some prompts for individual requests and some fangirling about the characters ;)

This time, I really chose the full crime series mode, with the exception of Grey’s Anatomy. I love the atmosphere of the requested shows/books and I want to have moooore of it so I usually prefer canon and canon divergence over alternate universe.

I’d love to read canon-style plot - which is typically a casefic or a mission fic (given the fandoms) - with some shenanigans, more focus on hurt/comfort than in canon, with some sprinkles of the requested friendship/relationship and no s*x, or it could be a future fic or a fix-it focused on friendship.

Honestly, there can never be enough hurt/comfort in a fanfic. I prefer physical h/c, and injuries over illnesses. I love it and everything it encompasses ie. adapting to new life, permanent injuries, physical therapy…

Almost all my faves are so busy with saving the patients and saving the world, have to always be alert and competent. And I’d love to see a bit of fluff in their lives. Who’ll bring them the fluff? And what is it? Visiting a cat-cafe or breakfast in bed? Or I’d just love to get a sneak peek into the everyday life of my favourite characters.

And there can also never be enough spies and murder mysteries and generally, case fics! I’d love to follow the characters while they are investigating a crime or trying to diagnose a patient.

For / ships I’d like to clarify that I don’t need romance and kisses in every paragraph of the fic. I’d love to know that my beloved characters are in a relationship or are trying to get together but feel free to mix the romance with my other general likes or even focus more on my other general likes and genres and tropes and just add this new layer of two characters being in a relationship in smaller measures. But if you want to write a whole fic about the partners panicking and preparing a wedding, I’m here for it too.

What I love about the series:

I like the slow pace, the fact that there’s usually only one murder to investigate and it’s not a bloodbath. I love the first half an hour when the criminal prepares the crime. And then of course I love everything about Columbo - the “just one more thing”, the way he so casually talks with the suspects and collects more pieces of information than he lets on, the Dog, his unseen wife…

Prompts:

• A case-fic - up to you if it will be a classical whodunit or more in style of Columbo where we’ll know from the start who did it and will follow Columbo who’ll have to discover it, too.
• Something about Columbo’s Italian heritage. Maybe he’s in Italy on vacations. Maybe, something happens there wink wink (Also, I absolutely love Italy and Italian language and culture and just everything Italian.)
• Mrs. Columbo. I’d love to get to know more about her. Maybe about the time she and Columbo met. Or maybe she’s involved in a case now, maybe investigating it along with Columbo.
• We are used to the fact that in TV series there are usually two detectives (and a whole team) investigating together. For Columbo in canon it wouldn’t work that well as the focus is on his discussions with the murderers buuuut I’d love to see Columbo with a colleague. Maybe they are new and Columbo is explaining to them his methods or maybe it’s someone Columbo met years ago…

What I love about the series:

I love Reid! I want Reid to be happy and I want him to know that he has good friends!
I love the investigation, how everyone has their expertise, how they cooperate, how sometimes one of the profilers has a surprising piece of knowledge stemming from their hobbies or personal lives. And I absolutely love how they finalise the preliminary profile and then have the briefing with the local police. And I also like the flights and their discussions there…
And recently, I’ve also started exploring Elle/Emily.

The series became a bit too dark for me (ie. the parts showing the unsubs, especially kidnappings) so I’d prefer more focus on the detective and profiling work than detailed descriptions of the unsub’s modus operandi.

Prompts:

• Reid showing his genius side during or outside investigation (bonus points for involving books)
• Airplane discussions, Reid excitedly reciting random facts
• Hurt!Reid. I’d love to know more about Reid’s headaches and migraines in season 6 because in TV it just kinda faded away without any real explanation (IRL Matthew Gray-Gubler was contemplating leaving the series and the writers were preparing the possibilities for him to leave and one of the possible reasons was Reid’s cancer, but please no cancer here).
• Exploring other canon injuries, like after Reid was shot in the leg in season 5. Reid knowing more about his injury (at least in theory) than his doctors could also be interesting. Will he be counting probabilities about successful surgeries and recovery? Reid writing to his mom. We know he writes her letters every day. Does he write about everyday things, an investigation, an injury or him meeting/dating someone?
• If you’ll go for Reid/OMC I’d love to know more about Reid’s partner. Where did they meet? In a cafe or when he was visiting his mom in the psychiatric hospital? Was Spencer his shy and awkward self when this person first approached him or was it Spencer who initiated the contact?! What does the OMC do? Is he a university professor, are they having some intense intellectual debates or is it more of a physical attraction and the professions don’t matter?
• Some more peaceful, calmer moments, friendship scenes, decompressing after a difficult case
• Gideon as Reid’s mentor
• One of my headcanons is that Reid is asexual so feel free to incorporate it into the fic
• For Elle/Emily. How and where have they met. What is Elle doing? (assuming the fic takes place after she’s fired) Is there a way for her to return or has she started doing something else? Or maybe Elle and Emily are now private detectives!

What I love about the series:

Grey’s Anatomy has been running for so long and everything has already happened there. I just love medical TV shows, all the improbable cases, crazy diagnosis, competent doctors, watching the surgeries, the tense atmosphere in the OR when something goes wrong, injuries, healing, doctors explaining the procedures…

I loved Cristina/Burke and then Calzona... However, if there’s one relationship that happened in canon but broke up and broke my heart in the process because I thought they were perfect for each other it was Mark/Addison.

Over time I’ve begun exploring ships that weren’t canon at all, I love the idea of Meredith/Cristina (and also Derek/Mark). Their friendship and mutual understanding was so deep that I can easily imagine them as a couple. And I also love all the canon friendships.

I have a soft spot for Calzona and don’t want anything bad to happen to this couple. They deserve some happiness. For Mer/Cristina I’m open to all possible ways as to how they started dating, eg. even one of the partners cheating on their canon partner and so on…

Prompts:

• One of the doctors is preparing to do a difficult surgery, the other one is supporting them, calming down, offering ideas…
• I love OR scenes and competent confident surgeons there.
• Medical case-fic (looking for a diagnosis or a solution of a case - like Derek on the first day Cristina, Meredith and the other started their internship)
• Hurt/comfort - one of the doctors is a patient. Who is it? What happened? Who’s treating them?
• Exploring canon injuries. I’d love to read about Arizona and how she’s dealing with the amputation. It seemed like a season later the writers forgot she had lost her leg. (in this case references to the plane crash and Mark’s and Lexie’s deaths are ok)
• Fluffy Calzona; I loved them, my girls deserve to be happy together (what if they both returned to Seattle from NY as a couple again?).
• Cristina is a fascinating character, I’d love to read more about her career in Switzerland, about her being a famous surgeon and teacher; how is it compatible with her friendship or relationship with Meredith
• Another reason Cristina truly is a fascinating character to me is because she openly stated she didn’t want to have kids; it’s a theme people don’t talk about nowadays and I feel it was even more taboo ten years ago. I just love her for saying it loud and for standing up for her decision.
• Meredith and Cristina had such an amazing friendship, I’d love to see it in a fic.
• Meredith/Cristina - how did it happen (totally up to you, maybe Meredith/Derek never even dated, or it was a one-night stand ooor Meredith/Cristina started dating after all of the canon MerDer - references to Derek’s death are ok…)
• Canon divergence - Mark survives the plane crash (and he returns to Addison). There could be some hurt/comfort in the process… (Tbh I don’t care much about Lexie and would be fine with the fic not mentioning her at all.)
• I’d love to see more Mark/Addison. They were both so sassy and self-confident and playful at times. I’d love to see them in the hospital and outside the hospital, or on a trip to NY or gossiping about other hospital pairs ;) Or maybe we can even get some flashbacks to NY and how it all started.

4) Miss Marple - Agatha Christie

What I love about the books:

I just love Agatha’s detectives, I love Miss Marple and her little quirks, the way she unobtrusively gets exactly what she wants - and that’s information ;) how kind she is but doesn’t let anyone fool her, always has a comparison with someone from St. Mary Mead ready…

I’ve read all the books with Miss Marple and have also seen the majority of the TV episodes (Geraldine McEwan for the win!). My favourite books are At Bertram’s Hotel and Sleeping Murder (and least favourite A Pocket Full of Rye).

Prompts:

• A look into Miss Marple’s life when she was younger. Indeed, what was she doing her whole life? Wiki says she didn’t work but that’s it?! I’d love to have more backstory.
• Case fic. The classic Miss Marple and a mystery in a village. It doesn't have to be a murder, what other crimes could she investigate? But it can be murder just as well.
• We know that Miss Marple is a spinster but maybe she had an innocent romantic relationship at some point in her life? Who was it? In my mind I can see her briefly brushing hands with a beautiful lady. I’d love to see a romantic relationship or friendship between women.
• An adventure Raymond prepares for his aunt to hopefully hold her from any dangerous investigations. Will the plan work or will a mystery appear?
• How would it look like if it were Miss Marple investigating one of mysteries that in canon was investigated by Poirot (or Tommy and Tuppence or one of the “unnamed” amateur detectives from Agatha’s works).
• Miss Marple in our time. Is she still the curious old lady and has learnt how to use the computer? Is she reading the suspect’s posts on Instagram? Writing emails to alert the police to a crime?

What I love about the series:

I love spies so much, I love undercover work, creating backstories and agents slipping into “fake” characters. And Mr. Callen is the master of the game. I also love men with blue eyes and characters with tough childhood behind them and mysterious past. Basically, NCIS: LA is Mr. Callen for me.

Some of my favourite episodes are: Past Lives, Pusback, LD50, Callen G., Familia, Reznikov N., Matryoshka, The Chosen One, Purity

Prompts:

• Case fic; I love all case fics, it’s a great bonus if they include Comescus or someone from the characters’ past. The more undercover work and spies the better ;)
• Exploring Callen’s past as the agent in Russia and Eastern Europe. I also love Arkady and would love to see more about his past cooperation with Callen.
• Mr. Callen undercover. What’s his alias? Who is he? (I loved loved the episode Ink in the blood from season 1 - he became the printer.)
• Hurt!Callen. What happened to him this time? Is he in a hospital? Who’s putting up with him? I feel like even most of the canon injuries have been brushed upon, especially the ones after Mexico or after Spiral… And we were robbed of Callen’s recovery after the nearly fatal shooting in the NCIS LA spin-off Legend. Or you can come up with moooore original injuries. Mission fic, undercover, case fic would be an awesome background for this.
• Exploring Callen’s ability to speak multiple foreign languages and maybe other talents. Is it useful for his job or is it for something else in this case? Is he learning a new language? (The language battle with Hunter was amazing.)
• I just love the cagy, lone wolf Mr. Callen from the first few seasons and would like to read more about him. He trusted so few people but somehow Hetty, Sam and Arkady were among them.
• Sam/Callen (I’d prefer Sam not cheating on Michelle; up to you if you omit Michelle and canon or maybe they got together after her death?) How did they start dating? What’s their relationship like? How do they balance work and private life? Is there a bit of fluff in their lives? What if Callen is injured? What is Sam doing?
• 5 + 1 format. Maybe mission fics, 5 times Callen was a lone wolf and solved the case and the one time he needed Sam. Or the other way around. Or something totally different.
• I also loved the earlier seasons’ dynamics between Hetty and Callen. They respect and understand each other, Callen is trying to find out about his past, Hetty is trying to protect him…
• Basically, anything Mr. Callen related would be awesome.

What I love about the series:

I love the brotherhood, the absolute trust, the unbreakable bond between the SEALs. The way they are so dedicated to the job and can forget all the troubles and just get the things done. I love watching these confident men who can just do anything anywhere anytime they want. I like the way they face their problems. I love it when they plan the missions. Everyone weighs in their opinion, they quickly form plans, always have a plan B.

I love Sonny & Clay’s friendship. They are so different and at the first sight, it’s an improbable friendship - and yet they are battle boos.

Season 6 episode 8 never happened T_T. Please use canon up to S06E07. (In case you choose some fix-it scenario then references to 06x08 are ok).

Prompts:

• The feeling of brotherhood.
• Clay & Sonny’s friendship. They are so different and at the first sight, it’s an improbable friendship - and yet they are best friends.
• The classics: case fic, mission fic, undercover work. I love it when they plan the missions. Everyone weighs in their opinion, they quickly form plans, always have a plan B.
• Or it could be more fluffy and light-hearted here - cooking together, moving in together… maybe Bravo goes on vacations together.
• SEAL Team is more focused on action and executing the orders but how would they fare with investigating a murder mystery?
• And of course so many many hurt/comfort opportunities. What happened? Are they stranded somewhere? Will they get the help needed? (Unsurprisingly, I’d prefer hurt!Clay)
• Injuries from a mission are the most expected but I’d be interested also in other ways how the poor boys could get hurt. In training? Or a “normal” car crash?
• I loved everything about Manila and Clay’s injury. What if Bravo returned from the Philippines after the bombing and was there for Clay instead of Swanny? Would it lead to Clay/Sonny, Clay/Jason? Or what if Stella was there for Clay during PT?
• What if “the very real possibility that your operating days will be over” the doctors kept talking about in 2x18 did happen and Clay couldn’t return to the field?
• Or maybe the Manila injuries are acting up now, on top of everything else.
• If you’d like to go the Clay/Sonny route, I’m in! Or Clay/Jason route! These fics are so rare T_T I’d love to know if they are hiding the relationship, when did it start, if the others noticed, how and if it influences their behaviour on spin-ups…

For Season 6:

• Any of the nominated relationships/friendships under these hard circumstances.
• There was a 3-month-jump in the events in episode 2 so what happened during this time, not only with Clay but the whole team?
• Clay instructing the Green Team and…. Clay is such an intelligent and capable person that I can’t imagine he’ll be happy yelling at Green Team members and ramping up their fitness in the long run. Can you please find something more for him to do? He speaks nine languages wink wink
• Could he be accompanying Bravo on some missions because of his unique language skills? What will this trip cause? Increase his (and Jason’s) desire for him to return to Bravo? What is Stella’s opinion?
• Clay returning to Bravo.
• I have to admit that I have a pretty developed fix-it AU in my mind (and in a series of fics) where Clay returns to Bravo even with a prosthetic leg. It’s the only way I’m able to deal with season 6… and I totally do get it that you might not share this view. So in this case could you please concentrate more on the earlier stages of the rehab and coming to terms with the amputation (like episode 6x2, 6x3, 6x4) instead of long-term career and life plans? (I would prefer fics that wouldn't directly contradict my head-canon in this case)
• Though if you do share this view that Clay returns, I need to know everything about how it goes! In this case I'm here for alllll the fix-it fics! I’d LOVE to see Clay become Bravo 1 one day… (with his partner at his side?).

Fandom specific DNW: focus on season 4 storylines

What I love about the series:

Of course I read some of the books, loved them, especially the Hound of Baskerville and then... the modern TV series with Benedict Cumberbatch spiked my interest even more ;)

I love how clever and witty the series is, how the writers managed to transfer the original plot into the modern world. I like all the allusions to real world politics and people and affairs.

Prompts:

• Case fic. Does everything go as usual with Sherlock being the genius and police unable to solve the case? Is Lestrade competing with Sherlock and trying to solve the case alone or do their work better together?
• I’d love to see Sherlock and Watson investigating with the help of Lestrade or Mycroft (or both of them!)
• Case-fic from Watson’s POV as he writes his blog posts. Or maybe we get to read Sherlock’s secret diary. Is he so analytical even there? Or does he keep some reports about cases?
• Hurt/comfort. I really need to know more about Watson’s leg injury. (I really wouldn't mind if Watson had to use his cane longer and not just the first five minutes of the first episode or so ;) and it being a physical injury, not psychosomatic) Or is it Sherlock who’s injured? What happened?
• What on earth had to happen that Mycroft and Sherlock are working together?! Have they told Watson? Will they save the world/Queen/King/Great Britain/whomever else?
• Sherlock and Watson in an established relationship. Are they hiding it? Does Lestrade and/or Mycroft find out?
• What about oblivious genius Sherlock? How does Watson manage to get him dating ;)
• One of my headcanons is that Sherlock is asexual so feel free to incorporate it into the fic

8) The Professionals (TV 1977)

What I love about the series:

I like how this series focuses only on three main characters and yet so much mystery about them still remains. I like the clever plot, the banter between Doyle and Bodie and the action scenes; the often complicated investigation, spy games, sneak peeks into politics and diplomacy, and especially the cold-war atmosphere, and Cowley as the master-mind…

It is so interesting to watch how Cowley, Bodie and Doyle all have different backgrounds (albeit we don’t have that much info) and it serves as believable reasoning for the different motivation, decisions and behaviour of the characters. And all the action scenes also offer so many h/c possibilities ;)

Prompts:

• I just like this matter-of-fact, raw tone of the series and would love to see it in the fic too
• Classic case-fic... or a case-fic with some sprinkles of Bodie/Doyle or Bodie/Cowley
• Who initiated the relationship? Are they hiding it? They probably have to… but does Doyle know (for Bodie/Cowley) or does Cowley know (for Bodie/Doyle)?
• Is it the first m/m relationship for either of them? If not, is there any story they can tell about their past relationships? Was their partner also an agent, a soldier?
• Can we catch some smallest details revealing they are in a relationship even when they are 100 % focused on a case?
• For Bodie/Cowley: Age gap! Age gap! I don’t see it as a problem at all but maybe some of the characters have some thoughts about it.
• I’d love to get to know more about Bodie’s mysterious past. Will we meet Krivas again??
• H/C, it seems that in the course of later seasons the writers forgot but there indeed is a bullet in Cowley’s leg! And the many times Bodie (or Doyle) was kicked, hit, injured and even shot? So many h/c opportunities. Who is hurt? How did it happen? Is it serious?
• I love the episodes involving politics, cold war, diplomats and agents playing games (and spy games). Maybe their investigation brings them abroad and we get a look at another country during the cold war times…
• Investigating undercover. Who is undercover? What is his alias?
