This originated as a bit of a joke. I was talking to my friend about this fic and how hilarious and confusing for Google it must be when I'm searching "where is Virginia Beach" one minute, "are there sharks in Thailand" the next and "parts of prosthetic leg" the next. And we thought it could be fun to keep track of all my Google searches while writing this fic.
You know sometimes people say they were writing a fic and then suddenly fell down the rabbit hole and spent a day on researching Chinese calligraphy even though they needed just two sentences about it for the fic... So this is not quite this, this is a list of literally every search I made. Everything I put in Google even if I had the answer in 30 seconds.
What is the most surprising search? And the funniest? I especially like the absolute chaos in there!
You'll see that not every search made it to the fic and I'm also not saying that my fic is 100 % accurate but I don't want to eg. end up with Iraq being the neigbouring country of Afghanistan.
