Here’s a list of my general likes, DNWs, and some prompts for individual requests. I’d love to see the characters outside of canon or in a bit altered canon and I’m curious how this could change the dynamics between the requested characters, how it would influence their relationships and friendships and work. I tried to group the requested AUs under the individual requests into four categories: Time, Altered canon, “True” AUs and Other.

Time

Here I’d love to see the characters in a different time period though doing what they usually do. How does their work differ, how do the surroundings look?

Altered canon

Some part of the canon is altered - eg. a character suffers from Hanahaki though I can imagine that the rest of the canon can stay as it is.

“True” AUs

Here are all the classic AUs like Coffee Shop AU or even lesser used AUs like Lawyers AU… And I’d love to see how the characters would behave in this AU.

Of course, the division is not clear-cut. I’ll just mention two pairs of tags that are probably very arbitrary. Casefic x Detective AU. So I would imagine that casefic occurs in the canon of the requested fandom and the characters who are not detectives have for some reason investigate a case, though they usually don’t do that (eg. I request this in Figure Skating RPF). Whereas I imagine Detective AU as the classic AU where the characters are detectives, investigate cases… (in canon they are eg. doctors).

And the same applies to Character is a spy x Spy AU. So for the first tag I imagine canon and one of the characters we know as a doctor, figure skater etc. is also secretly a spy. And Spy AU would be the classic AU.

But don’t worry and write what you want and what you imagine under these tags.

Other

For / ships I’d like to clarify that I don’t need romance and kisses in every paragraph of the fic. I’d love to know that my beloved characters are in a relationship or are trying to get together but feel free to focus more on my other general likes and genres and tropes and just add this new layer of two characters being in a relationship in smaller measures. But if you want to write a whole fic about the partners panicking and preparing a wedding, I’m here for it too.

I also love hurt/comfort and will squeal in joy at whatever mention of h/c.

What I love about the series:

I love Agatha Christie and all her works. Poirot is one of my favourite detectives ever. If I - accidentally - haven’t seen a story I (almost certainly) have read the book and vice versa. I love everything about Poirot. Clever mysteries, mostly calm and thought through plot, Poirot’s little quirks, the nostalgia and elegance.

No preference for which character has a chronic illness / Hanahaki. I’d love to see Hastings as a spy. He’d have to be very clever and only pretend to be … well, Hastings. And for road trip - where are they going? Does Vera Rosakoff play a role there? Maybe Poirot wants to visit her in Russia! Or is Poirot going to visit Hastings in Argentina?

Lawyers - Maybe Poirot is a famous lawyer and Hastings an ex-offo lawyer and they’ll have to team up.

What I like about the series:

What I like about Bones is I’d say balance. Balance between the detective work and more personal story-lines. Between humour and fun on one hand and deeper thoughts and more serious themes on the other hand. Moreover, there’s a very interesting and varied group of squinterns… Wendell, Arastoo, Daisy, Fuentes, Vincent, Fisher… And then all the scientific experiments, procedures etc.

Angela has been always talking/dreaming about Paris. Is she a painter there?

What are the characters doing in the Renaissance Era?

And what about Prague? Booth could still be a policeman and the others could be pioneering modern investigation methods here and admiring Prague.

I have a slight preference for Booth (or Hodgins) having a chronic illness. I’d love to see someone from the Jeffersonian as a spy. And whom are they spying for? Hodgins and the CIA would be a hilarious combination.
Where are they going on a road trip? Is it during an investigation or purely fun?

Lawyers - Are they facing each other in court or working together in a law firm?

DWTS - Bones and Booth were dancing in canon already. I’m so curious - who’d be the professional dancer and who’ll be the celebrity? Bones as a writer? Angela as a painter?

Bake off! - I can again imagine Bones as a very skilled amateur baker. And she’d be a fierce competitor. Who’s also participating?

What I love about the series:

I love Dr. Reid with all my heart… though the series was a bit too dark for me (ie. the parts showing the unsubs, especially kidnappings) so I prefer more focus on the detective and profiling work than detailed descriptions of the unsub’s modus operandi.

I love the investigation, how everyone has their expertise, how they cooperate, how sometimes one of the profilers has a surprising piece of knowledge stemming from their hobbies or personal lives. And I absolutely love how they finalise the preliminary profile and then have the briefing with the local police. And I also like the flights and their discussions there… And I love Dr. Reid! And hurt/comfort.

I want Reid to be happy and I want him to know that he has good friends!

Renaissance Era

These characters are so multi-faceted, have so many hobbies and different kinds of knowledge and education. I’d love to see how this would be reflected in the renaissance era.

Altered canon:

I headcanon Reid as asexual and would love to see it in the fic and the others reacting to it.

I’d love to see hurt!Reid, especially the leg gunshot wound from season 5. Similarly, for chronic illness I’d also prefer sick!Reid. Could it be connected to Reid’s headaches from season 6?

They are always flying, so now it’s time for a proper road trip in a car. Are they going somewhere in the US or abroad?

Other:

Murder on the Orient Express fusion

Are they helping with the investigation or are they just innocent travellers in another compartment and are observing the happenings? Or something else? Go wild! I just should say that I’ve read the book and seen the episode from the series with David Suchet but haven’t watched the film.

Hospital - Are they all doctors? Is one of them a patient? I’d love to see some hurt/comfort (I’d prefer hurt!Reid). Feel free to use canon injuries. Or is one of them a surgeon, preparing to perform a difficult surgery and the other one calming them down and encouraging them?

Library AU - I imagine here a university library on a big campus, Reid as an avid reader and excellent student, Rossi and/or Gideon as a gentle librarian or a professor meeting Reid often in the library… discussing various books.

Modern Military - I’d love to see these different personalities in a setting focused on discipline and rules (even more than the FBI probably).

Musicians AU - What instrument they are playing? Are they on tour? Are they writing their own lyrics and composing songs?

Organized Crime - ooor are they on the dark side? Why? Who’s the boss? What canon knowledge would they use?

Spies AU - In canon they are not hiding that they are investigating and are law enforcement, how would it look like if they were undercover or had to pretend. What about their friendship under these circumstances? What if one of them gets injured?

What I love about it:

I love figure skating, have been following it closely since 2016. My forever fave will be Javier Fernández. After his retirement it was Matteo Rizzo and Shoma who have been giving me the most emotions. I didn’t see much of Stéphane during his competitive years but his exhibitions are to die for.

Champéry and TCC simply fascinate me, the nurturing environment they’ve managed to build there. But what fascinates me even more are Stéphane, Shoma, the way they think and the way they communicate with each other and understand each other. It’s my absolutely favourite sport to watch (the 89ish FS RPF fics on my account might support this theory). I love everyone! Also, Javi and Stephane are universally shippable ;)

What I like about the series:

I love everything about House. An “unlikeable” main character, cynicism and irony, crime case-like approach to medicine…

In my opinion the first three seasons were the best. I'm much more familiar with the first five seasons… I know all the important events that happened afterwards (but we can totally make a deal that seasons 7 and 8 didn’t ever happen, especially not the whole House/Cuddy breakup, car “accident”, prison etc.)

What I love about the series:

I appreciate how humorous and fun the series was on one hand and didn't shy away from difficult topics on the other hand. They balanced the fun, OR scenes, anti-war message, individual characters’ arcs so well.

I can’t even count how many times I’ve watched the series. My favourite character is Hawkeye and his blue eyes and humour and professional skills and how human he is. Though there isn’t a single character I wouldn’t like, I mean Frank for sure wasn’t likeable but you have to love him anyway, right? ;) It really doesn’t feel that the series started FIFTY years ago.

Canon injury - Canon injury has longer-term effects - Hawkeye has had quite a lot of injuries or illnesses. What if the recovery were much longer than in canon? Who’d be there for him?

Casefic - What’s happened in MASH that they have to investigate? Is it a theft or a spy?

Chronic Illness - I’d prefer sick!Hawkeye. What illness is he suffering from? How does it influence his work?

Character is a spy - Who is a spy? Who are they spying for? CIA? How difficult is it to hide it? And what about Flagg? ;)

Hanahaki - Who’s suffering from Hanahaki? How does it influence their work? Are they seeking advice from someone? Do they - as doctors - know about Hanahaki?

Or feel free to move into Politics AU completely (or use some other real world political situation, though I’d prefer anything connected to the 21st century politics be omitted)

DWTS - I’d love to see my faves in this environment. Are they all competing? What stories do they want to tell through their dances? It would be amazing if you could include canon injuries in there.

What I like about the series:

I love spies so much, I love undercover work, creating backstories and agents slipping into “fake” characters. And Mr. Callen is the master of the game. I also love men with blue eyes and characters with tough childhood behind them and mysterious past. Basically, NCIS: LA is Mr. Callen for me.

We know that Callen was an agent operating in Eastern Europe while in DEA and CIA so I’d love to see him in Prague. Prague in the 1990s was kind of a meeting point of the Russian mob so…. Wink wink

The Renaissance era is something completely different. I'd love to see someone as mysterious and multi-talented as Callen in this era. What would he do? And Char B?

Canon injury - Canon injury has longer-term effects - I’m thinking mainly about the shooting in the NCIS spin off Legend or the injury in Mexico. What I love about the series:

I love the brotherhood, the absolute trust, the unbreakable bond between the SEALs. The way they are so dedicated to the job and can forget all the troubles and just get the things done. I love watching these confident men who can just do anything anywhere anytime they want. I like the way they face their problems. I love it when they plan the missions. Everyone weighs in their opinion, they quickly form plans, always have a plan B.

I love Sonny & Clay’s friendship. They are so different and at the first sight, it’s an improbable friendship - and yet they are battle boos.

Season 6 episode 8 never happened T_T. Please use canon up to S06E07. (In case you choose some fix-it scenario then references to 06x08 are ok).
