Dear Author,

thank you so much for writing a fic for me. You can find me as Claire_cz on AO3.

I’ve requested only the characters I love the most, so usually it’s only one pair or two pairs per fandom… And I’ll just be so happy to meet these characters again, now with the added value of knowing they are in a relationship.

I love the atmosphere of the requested shows. I love the shows and I want to have moooore of it so I usually prefer the canon-verse or some smaller (or bigger) canon divergence over alternate universe.

Another thing is, I don’t need romance and kisses in every paragraph of the fic. I’d love to know that my beloved characters are in a relationship or are trying to get together - and would love to see small gestures of affection, stolen glances and a few kisses in the middle of the activities the characters usually do - i.e. investigating a murder, being on a mission abroad, treating a patient…. But if you want to write a whole fic about the partners panicking and preparing a wedding, I’m here for it too.

So, I’ve realized that none of my requested ships are canon. I’d prefer the requested characters not to cheat on their canon partners. Feel free to “solve” the situation as you prefer - eg. omitting the canon partners altogether, the canon ship breaking up/divorcing, requested character coming out to his canon partner as gay (I’ve also realized all my requested characters - if in a relationship in canon - are in heterosexual relationships), the canon partner always being just a friend etc. etc.

For every requested fandom I included some prompts or just questions. But I would be equally excited if you surprise me with a completely different idea along the lines of my general likes. Feel free to combine the prompts or prompts and general likes too.

1) Bones (TV)

Seeley Booth/Jack Hodgins

Feel free to add other characters…Bones, Angela, Aubrey, Sweets, Gordon Gordon, Camilla, Zach, Caroline, the Squints…

Fandom specific DNWs: focus on Gormogon, Taffet, Brodski, Pellant and other big villains

What I like about the series:

What I like about Bones is I’d say balance. Balance between the detective work and more personal story-lines. Between humour and fun on one hand and deeper thoughts and more serious themes on the other hand. Moreover, there’s a very interesting and varied group of squinterns… Wendell, Arastoo, Daisy, Fuentes, Vincent, Fisher… And then all the scientific experiments, procedures etc.

Prompts and questions:

• Booth and Hodgins didn’t get on well from the beginning, it was a process. And I think there are some many points - timewise - that would be interesting for setting up the fic there. At the very beginning when Hodgins comes up with yet another conspiracy theory and Booth just has to explain things clearly to him and somehow they start dating, or getting together after Zach is arrested and Hodgins is upset,
• I think people were underestimating Booth sometimes - in comparison to all the scientists from the Jeffersonian. But he is very intelligent in his own right, he’s an FBI agent, investigator after all. Plus he has a lot of practical knowledge and experiences, something the squinterns (and Bones) might lack.
• Classic case-fic, with some sneak peeks into Booth/Hodgins’ relationship
• What if Hodgins was indeed dating Angela before Booth. What will her dad do?
• There are not enough fics about Hodgins dealing with his injury and having to use the wheelchair. I’d like him to realize thanks to Booth (and all the others) that he’s still capable of so many things.
• Hodgins needs some fluffy cozy days after he’s been paralyzed in season 11. What will Booth do?
• A road trip
• Hodgins and his conspiracy theories. Will he be proven right or wrong? Will Booth help him investigate?

2) Grey’s Anatomy

Derek Shepherd/Mark Sloan

Feel free to include other characters like Meredith, Cristina, Alex, Bailey, Richard, Burke, Owen, Teddy, Addison…

I’m more familiar with the first nine seasons

What I like about the series:

Grey’s Anatomy has been running for so long and everything has already happened there. I just love medical TV shows, all the improbable cases, crazy diagnosis, competent doctors, watching the surgeries, the tense atmosphere in the OR when something goes wrong, injuries, healing, doctors explaining the procedures…

My OTP was Cristina/Burke and then Calzona... And over time I’ve begun exploring ships that weren’t canon, I love the idea of Derek/Mark (and Meredith/Cristina). Their friendship and mutual understanding was so deep that I can easily imagine them as a couple.

Prompts and questions:

• One of the doctors is preparing to do a difficult surgery, the other one is supporting him, calming him down, offering ideas…
• Medical case-fic (looking for a diagnosis or a solution for a case - like Derek on the first day Cristina, Meredith and the others started their internship)
• H/C - one of the doctors is a patient. Who is it? What happened? Who’s treating him?
• Canon divergence - Mark survives the plane crash
• I love OR scenes and competent confident surgeons there.
• Maybe we can get some more background here. How did they get together? Did Meredith and Derek even ever date each other? Was it just the one-night stand? What about Addison, did she come to the Seattle Grace to try to save her marriage or not at all in our new universe? What about Mark? Is he still sleeping with every nurse he meets, or is he just pretending?
• Mark and Derek are just two very good looking, successful, quite rich gentlemen and I’d love to see them from an outsider’s point of view.
• When did Mark and Derek start dating? Already in NY and are an established couple or was it much later in Seattle when they realized?
• How are they balancing their career and private life?

3) House M.D.

Eric Foreman/Gregory House; Robert Chase/Gregory House

Feel free to add other characters: Cameron, Chase, Foreman, Kutner, Taub, Thirteen, Stacy…

Fandom specific DNWs: focus on Tritter and/or Vogler, focus on Wilson's cancer

What I like about the series:

I love everything about House. An “unlikeable” main character, cynicism and irony, crime case-like approach to medicine…

In my opinion the first three seasons were the best. I'm much more familiar with the first five seasons… I know all the important events that happened afterwards (but we can totally make a deal that seasons 7 and 8 didn’t ever happen, especially not the whole House/Cuddy breakup, car “accident”, prison etc.)

Prompts and questions:

• Medical case-fic in the style of the regular episodes, can we see some glimpses of Foreman/House or Chase/House
• Prequel to, sequel to, missing scene from any episode (especially from the first three seasons)
• Does Wilson and/or Cuddy know?
• Hurt!House. Of course, we have House, his leg and his pain. When it comes to canon portrayal of his pain I prefer the first three seasons. But you don’t have to concentrate only on this. House did many crazy things that resulted in other injuries, other crazy things just happened to him… or you can come up with new injuries. What does his partner do?
• I’d love to know how they started dating.
• House as Chase's mentor and their relationship developing
• Fix-it - there are so many things to fix :D Maybe House somehow returns even after his faked death to PPTH and is allowed to work there again (what are Chase and/or Foreman doing?)

4) MASH (TV)

“Trapper” John McIntyre/Benjamin Franklin “Hawkeye” Pierce

Feel free to include other characters like Charles, Frank, Henry, Col. Potter, Margaret, Klinger, Radar, Flagg…

What I like about the show:

I can’t even count how many times I’ve watched this series. I think there were times when immediately after the last episode ended the TV started to broadcast the series again from the beginning and again and again and I wasn’t complaining. My favourite character is Hawkeye and his blue eyes and humour and professional skills and how human he is.

I appreciate how humorous and fun the series was on one hand and didn't shy away from difficult topics on the other hand. They balanced the fun, OR scenes, anti-war message, individual characters’ arcs so well. There isn’t a single character I wouldn’t like, I mean Frank for sure wasn’t likeable but you have to love him anyway, right? ;) It really doesn’t feel that the series started FIFTY years ago.

Prompts and questions:

• How did Trapper/Hawkeye happen? Are they hiding their relationship? Did it happen in Korea or some time in the future? If it happened in Korea, do they continue their relationship after the war ends?
• There were some “press and TV focused” episodes so feel free to be inspired by these formats
• Hawkeye went through a fair share of sicknesses, medical issues but I need more. I’d love to read Hawkeye!hurt/comfort. What happened this time? Or you could expand an already existing episode. Especially the one where he hurt his eyes was angsty (Out of sight). What is Trapper doing?
• I’d love to get an explanation for Trapper’s sudden disappearance, especially considering he’s in a relationship with Hawkeye. Or maybe he doesn’t disappear at all?
• I’d like to see Hawkeye’s and Trapper’s future. Are they celebrated and successful surgeons in a big hospital in the US? Isn’t there a bit of professional jealousy? I always imagine Hawkeye as the one who’d be a bit better than the others.
• A look into the OR. I’d love to read more in the tone of the classic OR-episodes, follow a few patients more closely and also their doctors.
• I’m open to so many possibilities here: the fic taking place during the war or a future fic after the war or even transporting the characters to a modern-day hospital.

5) NCIS: Los Angeles

G Callen/Sam Hanna

What I like about the series:

I love spies so much, I love undercover work, creating backstories and agents slipping into “fake” characters. And Mr. Callen is the master of the game. I also love men with blue eyes and characters with tough childhood behind them and mysterious past. Basically, NCIS: LA is Mr. Callen for me.

Some of my favourite episodes are: Past Lives, Pusback, LD50, Callen G., Familia, Reznikov N., Matryoshka, The Chosen One, Purity

I’m more familiar with the first eight seasons.

Prompts and questions:

• The general questions are: How did they start dating? What’s their relationship like? How do they balance work and private life? Is there a bit of fluff in their lives? What if Callen is injured, what is the partner doing?
• Case fic; I love all case fics, it’s a great bonus if they include Comescus or someone from the characters’ past. The more undercover work and spies the better ;) How is it to be investigating alongside your partner?
• Mr. Callen undercover. Is Sam also undercover or providing support?
• hurt!Callen. So, what happened to Callen this time? Is he in a hospital? I feel like even most of the canon injuries have been brushed upon, especially the ones after Mexico… And what’s even more appalling we were robbed of Callen’s recovery after the nearly fatal shooting in the NCIS LA spin-off Legend. Or you can come up with moooore original injuries. Is Sam putting up with him? What are his thoughts? Is he worried?
• I just love the cagy, lone wolf Mr. Callen from the first few seasons and would like to read more about him. He trusted so few people but somehow Sam was among them.
• I also loved the earlier seasons’ dynamics between Hetty and Callen. They respect and understand each other, Callen is trying to find out about his past, Hetty is trying to protect him… What does she think about Callen and Sam dating?

6) Numb3rs (TV)

Charlie Eppes/Larry Fleinhardt

Feel free to add any other characters from the show.

What I like about the series:

Numb3rs is such a feel-good show for me, I really love all the characters. I mainly like the friendships and good relationships among them. I love the insights into university life. (I’m freely admitting that my knowledge of math is not great so I’ll be admiring Charlie’s brilliant explanations from afar ;) ) Larry is so wonderfully absent-minded and a brilliant genius at the same time. I love Charlie and his quirky ways, how intelligent and yet human he is, his friendship with Amita, Megan, Colby, David…

Prompts and questions:

• I don’t have many prompts here; this is such a feel-good series and I love Charlie and his quirky ways, how intelligent and yet human he is, his friendship with Amita, Megan, Colby, David… good family relationships. So just another feel-good story but this time with a Charlie/Larry twist?
• full dose of friendship and family fluff with Alan, Don, the FBI agents and the new couple
• Charlie and Larry working together on some scientific problem
• A road trip or Charlie and Larry going to a conference or just any activity where they’d have to show some practical skills ;) They both live a bit in their own world, though I’d trust Charlie more to have some practical skills too (and survive in the wild world :D )

7) Ocean’s Eleven Trilogy (movies)

Danny Ocean/Rusty Ryan

feel free to include Tess and Isabel and/or any other of Danny's friends

What I like about the films:

I’m not a film person, but these three films? I’ve seen them more often than I can count, probably.

Who wouldn’t enjoy watching George Clooney and Brad Pitt, right? And I just love all the clever long-cons, the suspense, the planning and teamwork. It’s always so interesting to see the planning of the con (I also enjoyed the British TV series Hustle, or the first half an hour of Columbo with the to-be murderer planning the crime) and yet still be surprised afterwards :) I also love the atmosphere of Las Vegas, descriptions of the casinos, of the games. (Though I have to admit I don’t understand card games much…)

Prompts and questions:

• Danny and Rusty having to cooperate with Isabel and the police. Whom are they trying to catch? Can we see some glimpses of their relationship during the investigation?
• A fic set before the first film and before Danny went to jail. What were Rusty and Danny doing? Were they already dating?
• Another heist, that’s what they can do best, right :)
• Friends to lovers; slowburn; domestic fluff…
• Hurt/comfort. I’d prefer hurt!Rusty. What’s happened? Is Danny taking care of him?

8) Olympics RPF

Armand “Mondo” Duplantis/Renaud Lavillenie

Feel free to add more pole vaulters – Sam Kendricks, KC Lightfoot, Chris Nielsen, EJ Obiena, Sondre Guttormsen, Axel Chapelle, Piotr Lisek, Pawel Wojciechowski, Manolo Karalis, Ben Broeders…

What I like about it:

Pole vault is such an exciting and unique discipline. And all the athletes seem to get on very well and the Mondo & Sam and especially Mondo & Renaud friendship – in real life – is so heart-warming to see.

There are so few stories in this fandom so feel free to add what you want! Bonus points for mentioning Armand’s glasses! (Nope, the laser surgery totally didn’t happen ;) )

Prompts and questions:

• Mondo and Renaud (and maybe some of their pole vaulting friends too) are training and just hanging around in Renaud’s garden in Clermont-Ferrand.
• Olympics 2020 (2021): there was all - the pressure and joy for Mondo, (the absolute joy for Manolo, the disappointment for Sam) and the drama and pain for Renaud. I’d love to read any fic based on these canon events with an established-relationship spin on it.
• Olympics 2024 – is Renaud competing there? (I certainly hope so!) Will Mondo win? 
• Slowburn, friends to lovers… They see each other at so many events, are friends … and slowly their relationship develops.
• Hurt/comfort. Injury recovery. Lots of comfort. Here I don’t have any preferences for who the hurt one is. (I may be leaning slightly towards Renaud.)
• All the fluff, they deserve it.
• I think it’s interesting how, from the outside perspective, they seem to be so different. It really fascinates me that Renaud loves motorcycling and horse races and on the other hand Mondo prefers golf. I’d expected it to be the other way round. So maybe they can show their hobbies to each other and share ;)

9) SEAL Team (TV)

Jason Hayes/Clay Spenser; Sonny Quinn/Clay Spenser

Fandom specific DNWs: Clay's death, any references to Clay's death; mentioning the vet center; focus on canon storylines about traumatic brain injury; focus on Full Metal, Vic, Emma, Rebecca; making Ash more of a negative character than in canon

What I like about the series:

I love the brotherhood, the absolute trust, the unbreakable bond between the SEALs. The way they are so dedicated to the job and can forget all the troubles and just get the things done. I love watching these confident men who can just do anything anywhere anytime they want. I like the way they face their problems. I love it when they plan the missions. Everyone weighs in their opinion, they quickly form plans, always have a plan B.

I love Sonny & Clay’s friendship. They are so different and at the first sight, it’s an improbable friendship - and yet they are battle boos.

Season 6 episode 8 never happened. Please use canon up to S06E07. (In case you choose some fix-it scenario then references to 06x08 are ok).

Prompts and questions:

• For Clay/Sonny: They are so different and at the first sight, it’s an improbable friendship - and yet they became best friends. And I’d love to see the change into something else. Does it influence the team dynamics, too? Does the team (or some members of the team) know?

For all pairs:

• Even though their lives are so dramatic, I’d love to see the normal, small things, little surprises, gestures of affection, going on a weekend trip somewhere…
• More fluffy and light-hearted vibes - cooking together, moving in together…
• And of course there are so many many hurt/comfort opportunities. What happened? Unsurprisingly, I’d prefer hurt!Clay and the partner taking care of him.
• Injuries from a mission are the most expected but I’d be interested also in other ways how the poor boys could get hurt. In training? Or a “normal” car crash?
• I loved everything about Manila and Clay’s injury. What if Bravo returned from the Philippines after the bombing and was there for Clay instead of Swanny? How would that change their relationship?
• What if “the very real possibility that your operating days will be over” the doctors kept talking about in 2x18 did happen and Clay couldn’t return to the field?

For Season 6:

• the relationship under these hard circumstances.
• There was a 3-month-jump in the events in episode 2 so what happened during this time?
• Could Clay be accompanying Bravo on some mission because of his unique language skills? What will this trip cause? Increase his (and Jason’s) desire for him to return to Bravo or will he make his peace with never coming back? What is Sonny / Jason thinking?
• Clay returning to Bravo.
• I have to admit that I have a pretty developed fix-it AU in my mind (and in a WIP) where Clay returns to Bravo even with a prosthetic leg. It’s the only way I’m able to deal with season 6… and I totally do get it that you might not share this view. Though if you do share this view that Clay returns, I need to know everything about how it goes! I’d LOVE to see Clay become Bravo 1 one day with his partner at his side.

10) The Professionals (TV 1977)

William Bodie/George Cowley

What I like about the series:

I like how this series focuses only on three main characters and yet so much mystery about them still remains. I like the clever plot, the banter between Doyle and Bodie and the action scenes; the often complicated investigation, spy games, sneak peeks into politics and diplomacy, and especially the cold-war atmosphere, Cowley as the master-mind…

It is so interesting to watch how Cowley, Bodie and Doyle all have different backgrounds (albeit we don’t have that much info) and it serves as believable reasoning for the different motivation, decisions and behaviour of the characters. And all the action scenes also offer so many h/c possibilities ;)

Prompts and questions:

• I just like this matter-of-fact, raw tone of the series and would love to see it in the fic too, so maybe pure fluff wouldn’t fit the tone that much
• Who initiated the relationship? Are they hiding it? They probably have to… but does Doyle know?
• Is it the first m/m relationship for either Bodie or Cowley? If not, is there any story they can tell about their past relationships? Was their partner also an agent, a soldier?
• Do we get to know something about Bodie’s mysterious past?
• Age gap! Age gap! I usually don’t see it as a problem at all but maybe some of the characters have some thoughts about it.
• Can we catch some smallest details revealing they are in a relationship even when they are 100 % focused on a case?
• H/C, it seems that in the course of later seasons the writers forgot but there indeed is a bullet in Cowley’s leg! And the many times Bodie was kicked, hit, injured and even shot? So many h/c opportunities.
