Dear Author,

thank you so much for writing a fic for me. I’m so excited about this exchange. I’ve included my general likes, DNWs and some thoughts, prompts and fangirling about the individual TV series/books.

In the spirit of the quick-paced High Adrenaline here is the shortened version of all the prompts: I just love the series and books I’ve requested and would prefer canon and canon-divergence over complete AUs. I’d love canon-style plot - which is typically a casefic or a mission fic (given the fandoms) - with some shenanigans, more focus on hurt/comfort than in canon, and with some sprinkles of the requested friendship/relationship and no s*x, or it could be a future fic or fix-it focused on friendship.

Honestly, there can never be enough h/c in a fanfic. I prefer physical h/c, and injuries wayyy over illnesses. I love it and everything it encompasses ie. adapting to new life, permanent injuries, physical therapy…

Almost all my faves are so busy with saving the patients and saving the world, have to always be alert and competent. And I’d love to see a bit of fluff in their lives. Who’ll bring them the fluff? And what is it? Visiting a cat-cafe or breakfast in bed? Or I’d just love to get a sneak peek into the everyday life of my favourite characters.

And there can also never be enough spies and murder mysteries and generally, case fics! I’d love to follow the characters while they are investigating a crime or trying to diagnose a patient.

For Hastings/Poirot - I’m very neutral/indifferent to Hastings’ wife, feel free to handle her character in any way you want - from not mentioning her, omitting her altogether, Hastings never meeting her, her cheating on Hastings and them getting a divorce, her dying, to Hastings getting divorce because of Poirot and anything else.

What I love about the series:

I love Agatha Christie and all her works. Poirot is one of my favourite detectives ever. If I - accidentally - haven’t seen an episode I (almost certainly) have read the book and vice versa. I love everything about Poirot. Clever mysteries, mostly calm and thought through plot, Poirot’s little quirks, the nostalgia and elegance, investigations taking place abroad, the understanding between Poirot and Hastings… I love the cases taking place in the Middle East or among the noble ladies and gentlemen.

Prompts:

• Case-fic. I especially like the mysteries in “high places” revolving around diplomats, ambassadors, politicians and all stories with spies. Is Poirot investigating with Hastings or is it a group effort of Poirot, Japp and Hastings?
• Prequel to, sequel to, any missing scene from any episode.
• We usually get stories told from Hastings POV. So what about a story told from Japp’s POV? What does he think about Poirot? Or Poirot’s POV?
• Poirot travelling in the Middle East. I love stories in these settings.
• What if Poirot visits Hastings in Argentina? Does he help him solve another mystery? Or will Hastings surprise Poirot as he had already solved the case?!
• Poirot and Hastings must have written so many letters to each other while Hastings was in Argentina, right? Was it about random or mundane things or about investigating? Was Hastings investigating something in Argentina and Poirot giving him advice? Or was it love letters?
• Poirot/Hastings hiding their relationship. Does Japp (and Miss Oliver and Miss Lemon) find out?
• Poirot/Hastings are dating. Will the dating agenda be distracted by a case? What would be some small signs of affection they’d have for each other?

What I love about the series:

I love everything about House. An “unlikeable” main character, cynicism and irony, crime case-like approach to medicine…

In my opinion the first three seasons were the best. I'm much more familiar with the first five seasons… I know all the important events that happened afterwards (but we can totally make a deal that seasons 7 and 8 didn’t ever happen, especially not the whole House/Cuddy breakup, car “accident”, prison etc.)

Prompts:

• Medical case-fic in the style of the regular episodes
• Prequel to, sequel to, missing scene from any episode (especially from the first three seasons)
• Cuddy & House complicated friendship
• House & Wilson strong friendship even in their worst moments
• House as a patient
• Hurt!House. Of course, we have House, his leg and his pain. When it comes to canon portrayal of his pain I prefer the first three seasons. But you don’t have to concentrate only on this. House did many crazy things that resulted in other injuries, other crazy things just happened to him… or you can come up with new injuries.
• I just simply love Wilson taking care of House.
• Are House/Wilson trying to get together? Are they in an established relationship and hiding it? Is there a bit of fluff in their everyday life?
• Hilson developing relationship, road trips, moving together…
• House as Chase's mentor
• Fix-it - there are so many things to fix :D Maybe House somehow returns even after his faked death to PPTH and is allowed to work there again (up to you if you take it further and let Wilson survive or he dies - in this case my DNWs about death of canon characters don’t apply)
• I’m so curious about an OC who would date House. What has caught House’s attention? Is it a one-night stand or something long-term? When did they meet - in a bar, at a conference, in the hospital… in a library, music shop? What are they doing together? House is very self-conscious about the scar on his thigh, how does the OC handle it?

What I love about the series:

I appreciate how humorous and fun the series was on one hand and didn't shy away from difficult topics on the other hand. They balanced the fun, OR scenes, anti-war message, individual characters’ arcs so well.
I can’t even count how many times I’ve watched the series. My favourite character is Hawkeye and his blue eyes and humour and professional skills and how human he is. Though there isn’t a single character I wouldn’t like, I mean Frank for sure wasn’t likeable but you have to love him anyway, right? ;) It really doesn’t feel that the series started FIFTY years ago.
Maybe I should also mention that I had a phase of intense interest for anything US military related. I’m not an expert in any way but I did watch Surviving the cut, SEALS Buds Class 234, Inside combat rescue etc…

Prompts:

• Hawkeye is a fascinating character. You can do no wrong with writing anything about him and his friendship with Trapper
• Hawkeye went through a fair share of sicknesses, medical issues but I neeeed more. I’d love to read Hawkeye hurt/comfort. What happened this time? How is Trapper or Margaret helping? Or you could expand an already existing episode.
• I’d like to see Hawkeye’s future. Is he a celebrated and successful surgeon in a big hospital in the US? He’d certainly deserve it. Is there Trapper with him? Isn’t there a bit of professional jealousy? I always imagine Hawkeye as the one who’d be a bit better than the others. Is Margaret working with him/them?
• Hawkeye/Trapper. How did it happen? When did they start dating - in Korea or after their return home? Are they hiding it? If it happened in Korea, do they continue their relationship after the war ends?
• A look into the OR. I’d love to read more in the tone of the classic OR-episodes, follow a few patients more closely and also their doctors.
• Pranks and shenanigans.
• I’m open to so many possibilities here: the fic taking place during the war or a future fic after the war or even transporting the character to a modern-day hospital (or war).
• I’d love to get an explanation for Trapper’s sudden disappearance, (especially in case he were in a relationship with Hawkeye). Or maybe he doesn’t disappear at all?
• There were some “press and TV focused” episodes so feel free to be inspired by these formats; there are also Hawkeye and Trapper regularly writing home; I’d love to see Hawkeye writing a medical report about a patient or someone writing a medical report about Hawkeye; taking a look at Col. Flagg’s classified documents would be hilarious…
• It didn’t come into existence very easily but over time Hawkeye’s and Margaret’s friendship went deep and they, though being so different, understood each other. I’d love to see a situation when their friendship, understanding and seamless cooperation play an important role.

4) NCIS: Los Angeles

What I love about the series:

I love spies, I reaaally love spies so much and I love undercover work, creating backstories and agents slipping into “fake” characters. And Mr. Callen is the master of the game. I also love men with blue eyes and characters with rough childhoods behind them and mysterious past. Basically, NCIS: LA is Mr. Callen for me.

Some of my favourite episodes are: Past Lives, Pusback, LD50, Callen G., Familia, Reznikov N., Matryoshka, The Chosen One, Purity

Prompts:

• Case fic; I love all case fics, it’s a great bonus if they include Comescus or someone from the characters’ past. The more undercover work and spies the better ;)
• Exploring Callen’s past as the agent in Russia and Eastern Europe. I also love Arkady and would love to see more about his past cooperation with Callen.
• Mr. Callen undercover. What’s his alias? Who is he? (I loved loved the episode Ink in the blood from season 1 - he truly became and was the printer.)
• Hurt!Callen. What’s happened to him this time? Is he in a hospital? Who’s putting up with him? I feel like even most of the canon injuries have been brushed upon, especially the ones after Mexico or after Spiral… And we were robbed of Callen’s recovery after the nearly fatal shooting in the NCIS LA spin-off Legend. Or you can come up with moooore original injuries. Mission fic, undercover, case fic would be an awesome background for this.
• Exploring Callen’s ability to speak multiple foreign languages and maybe other talents. Is it useful for his job or is it for something else in this case? Is he learning a new language? (The language battle with Hunter was amazing!)
• I just love the cagy, lone wolf Mr. Callen from the first few seasons and would like to read more about him. He trusted so few people but somehow Sam and Arkady were among them. And at that time the friendship/mentorship/respect between him and Hetty were also great.
• Sam/Callen (up to you if you omit Michelle and canon or maybe they got together after her death?) How did they start dating? What’s their relationship like? How do they balance work and private life? Is there a bit of fluff in their lives? What if Callen is injured? What is Sam doing?
• 5 + 1 format. Maybe mission fics, 5 times Callen was a lone wolf and solved the case and the one time he needed Sam. Or the other way around. Or something totally different.
• Basically, anything Mr. Callen related would be awesome.

Note about DNWs: my DNW about high school AUs doesn’t apply here (though here it’s not even an AU) and also don’t worry about the kid fic DNW in my general DNWs, Radio Silence is full of teenagers and I’m aware of that (the DNW is aimed more at babies or unexpected 5 year-old OCs etc.)

What I love about the book:

Just everything. This book is not only unicorns and rainbows, it doesn’t shy away from difficult themes and real life situations but the way they are presented and the hope and friendship in there make it so heart-warming and believable and you just want to hang out with Frances, Aled and Daniel.

I just wanted to say that I haven’t read/seen any other Alice Oseman’s work so I don’t know these characters outside of the Radio Silence canon in case they also appear somewhere else.

Prompts:

• Tbh I just want moooore of this, of these friendships and relationships, of this vibe
• Future fic: what are they all doing? What are they studying? Is Carys involved in Aled’s and Frances’ lives? If this is something you’d like to do - I’d love to know where they are in five years or ten years after the book ends, what their job is, are their friendships and relationships as tight and solid as they used to be, where are they living etc…
• Sneak peek into Frances and Aled creating the podcast
• Any missing scene from the book
• I’d like to get a closer look at Aled as demi or his relationship with Daniel
• Road trip, all of them spending their holidays together…
• Aled, Frances and Daniel working together on something which could show their different personalities and their bond. It could be a particularly difficult essay Daniel has to write or something in their flat has to get repaired or something more unusual?
• What about Frances getting to know an amazing OC and starting dating her? I’d love to know everything about it! When did they meet? What does the OC do? What does Frances’ mum think? What do Aled and Daniel think?
• I’d love to know more about Carys. Are Frances and Carys able to repair and revive their friendship? What if they started dating?
• Here I’m staying away from my - normally favourite - prompts full of h/c and murder mysteries… because in the above prompts I would prefer a bit more fluff buuuut I could imagine some detective AU or spy AU (when they are a bit older maybe) even with some h/c (I’d probably prefer hurt!Daniel).

What I love about the series:

I love the brotherhood, the absolute trust, the unbreakable bond between the SEALs. The way they are so dedicated to the job and can forget all the troubles and just get the things done. I love watching these confident men who can just do anything anywhere anytime they want. I like the way they face their problems.

And I love it when they plan the missions. Everyone weighs in his opinion, they quickly form plans, always have a plan B.

I love Sonny & Clay’s friendship. They are so different and at the first sight, it’s an improbable friendship - and yet they are battle boos.

For me, season 6 episode 8 never happened. Please please please use canon only up to S06E07. (In case you choose some fix-it scenario then references to 06x08 are ok). (I haven’t watched season 7).

Prompts:

• The feeling of brotherhood.
• Clay & Sonny’s friendship. They are so different and at the first sight, it’s an improbable friendship - and yet they are best friends. During a spin-up, training or just at home.
• The classics: case fic, mission fic, undercover work. I love it when they plan the missions. Everyone weighs in his opinion, they quickly form plans, always have a plan B.
• Or it could be more fluffy and light-hearted here - cooking together, moving in together… maybe Bravo goes on vacations together.
• Case fic. SEAL Team is more focused on action and executing the orders but how would they fare with investigating a murder mystery?
• And of course so many many hurt/comfort opportunities. What happened? Are they stranded somewhere? Will they get the help needed? (I’d prefer hurt!Clay)
• Injuries from a mission are the most expected but I’d be interested also in other ways how the poor boys could get hurt. In training? Or a “normal” car crash?
• I loved everything about Manila and Clay’s injury. What if Bravo returned from the Philippines after the bombing and was there for Clay instead of Swanny? Would it lead to Clay/Sonny, Clay/Jason? Or what if Stella was there for Clay during PT?
• What if “the very real possibility that your operating days will be over” the doctors kept talking about in 2x18 did happen and Clay couldn’t return to the field?
• Or maybe the Manila injuries are acting up now, on top of everything else.
• Clay/Sonny or Clay/Jason! These fics are so rare T_T I’d love to know if they are hiding the relationship, when did it start, if the others noticed, how and if it influences their behaviour on spin-ups…

For Season 6:

• Any of the nominated relationships/friendships under these hard circumstances.
• Clay instructing the Green Team and…. Clay is such an intelligent and capable person that I can’t imagine he’ll be happy yelling at Green Team members and ramping up their fitness in the long run. Can you please find something more for him to do? He speaks nine languages wink wink
• Could he be accompanying Bravo on some mission because of his unique language skills? What will this trip cause? Increase his (and Jason’s) desire for him to return to Bravo? What is Stella’s and/or Sonny’s opinion?
• Clay returning to Bravo.
• I have to admit that I have a pretty developed fix-it AU in my mind (and in a series of fics) where Clay returns to Bravo even with a prosthetic leg. It’s the only way I’m able to deal with season 6… and I totally do get it that you might not share this view. So in this case could you please concentrate more on the earlier stages of the rehab and coming to terms with the amputation (like episode 6x2, 6x3, 6x4) instead of long-term career and life plans? (I would prefer fics that wouldn't directly contradict my head-canon in this case)
• Though if you do share this view that Clay returns, I need to know everything about how it goes! In this case I'm here for alllll the fix-it fics! I’d LOVE to see Clay become Bravo 1 one day.

7) The Professionals (TV 1977)

What I love about the series:

I like how this series focuses only on three main characters and yet so much mystery about them still remains. I like the clever plot, the banter between Doyle and Bodie and the action scenes; the often complicated investigation, spy games, sneak peeks into politics and diplomacy, and especially the cold-war atmosphere, Cowley as the master-mind…

It is so interesting to watch how Cowley, Bodie and Doyle all have different backgrounds (albeit we don’t have that much info) and it serves as believable reasoning for the different motivation, decisions and behaviour of the characters. And all the action scenes also offer so many h/c possibilities ;)

Prompts:

• I just like this matter-of-fact, raw tone of the series and would love to see it in the fic too
• Classic case-fic... or a case-fic with some sprinkles of Bodie/Doyle or Bodie/Cowley
• Who initiated the relationship? Are they hiding it? They probably have to… but does Doyle know (for Bodie/Cowley) or does Cowley know (for Bodie/Doyle)?
• Is it the first m/m relationship for either of them? If not, is there any story they can tell about their past relationships? Was their partner also an agent, a soldier?
• Can we catch some smallest details revealing they are in a relationship even when they are 100 % focused on a case?
• For Bodie/Cowley: Age gap! Age gap! I don’t see it as a problem at all but maybe some of the characters have some thoughts about it.
• I’d love to get to know more about Bodie’s mysterious past. Will we meet Krivas again??
• H/C, it seems that in the course of later seasons the writers forgot but there indeed is a bullet in Cowley’s leg! And the many times Bodie (or Doyle) was kicked, hit, injured and even shot? So many h/c opportunities. Who is hurt? How did it happen? Is it serious?
• I love the episodes involving politics, cold war, diplomats and agents playing games (and spy games)
• Reuniting after years apart, post-canon etc. - I’d love to know what happened. Did Bodie and Doyle work for CI5 until retirement? Did one of them change his life radically? Why? What happened? How do they meet again…

What I love about the book:
It's Agatha! ;) I love everything Agatha Christie wrote, this is one of the crime novels without a famous detective and it's - in my opinion - even more exciting. I love novels where a young gentleman accidentally becomes a detective. I also love the way it's narrated, you can't be certain about anything. The suspense! And there are great descriptions of the nobility and the way of life back then.

And the non-existent country of Herzoslovakia (of course borrowing its name a bit from Czechoslovakia) I love it! ;)

• fic set in the past: What did Anthony exactly do with James in Africa? What adventures was he involved in? Was he involved in some investigations or murder mysteries already in Africa?!
• or, on the other hand, future fic: How's his life with Virginia in Herzoslovakia? Maybe the King and Queen are investigating undercover. Or are they somehow involved with diplomacy, espionage…?
• What if Anthony did in fact know King Victor more closely than presented in the book? Was he trying to catch him in the past or did he work for him? Alongside him?
• Maybe Anthony got quickly bored in Herzoslovakia and is now helping out Mr. Fish. What cases are they working on?
• Or is Anthony helping superintendent Battle? Maybe he’s undercover. Maybe he has to do some favour to Battle so that he lets him go (as not all of Anthony’s actions were strictly by the law, right?)
• Some sort of improbable disaster happened, to Lord Caterham, of course. What is Anthony doing?
• hurt!Anthony, I just love h/c

What I love about the book:

It’s a rollercoster of emotions. It covers such a long period of the charatercs’ lives and there’s everything: friendship, love, changes, coincidence, difficult decisions, family, loss, ambition. You don’t always understand or support how a character behaves and yet you still want them to do well and have their happy end.

I liked the descriptions of the video games but I just wanted to say that I’ve never ever played a videogame nor a PC game so I wouldn’t recognize any references to already existing games in the fic.

For this request my DNW ‘death of requested characters even if it’s canon’ doesn’t apply to Marx. Fix-its are welcome but feel free to also work with the canon (I also included his death in some prompts).

Prompts:

• I’d love to read more about Sadie teaching at the university.
• At the end of the book, Sadie again handed Sam a flash disk with a beginning of a new game… How will this continue? The usual creative but bittersweet circle of emotions and getting closer and distant again or will it be different?
• What if the shooting didn’t happen? Maybe Marx managed to convince the shooter to give up or there wasn’t a shooter at all… How different will be Sadie’s life? What about the friendship between Marx and Sam?
• What if Marx survived the shooting? Feel free to insert generous amounts of hurt/comfort (mostly physical hurt). How is Marx doing? How different will be Sadie’s life? What about the friendship between Marx and Sam?
• What if - at any point - Sam found the courage and asked Sadie on a date?
• I’d love to see Sam in a relationship with an OC (male or female). Where did they meet? What do Marx or Sadie think? Does the OC have any connection to the video games world or not?
• I think that the period after Marx’ death must have been very challenging for Sam because suddenly he had to lead the company and also care for all the ‘little’ things. I’d love to get a closer look at him at this point.
