Dear Author, thank you so much for writing a story for me.

Here’s a list of my general likes, DNWs, some prompts for individual requests and some fangirling about the characters ;)

The first thing I’d like to point out is: I love the atmosphere of the requested shows/books. I love them and I want to have moooore of it, so I usually prefer the canon-verse or some smaller (or bigger) canon divergence over alternate universe.

I have a lot of gen prompts here, there are some fandoms where I’m simply not that much into romance. On the other hand though there are some fandoms with ships I’d love to read about!

For / ships I’d like to clarify that I don’t need romance and kisses in every paragraph of the fic. I’d love to know that my beloved characters are in a relationship or are trying to get together but you can mix it with my other general likes or even focus more on my other general likes and genres and tropes and just add this new layer of two characters being in a relationship in smaller measures. But if you want to write a whole fic about the partners panicking and preparing a wedding, I’m here for it too.

I also love hurt/comfort, I will squeal in joy at whatever mention of h/c.

I never see it as a problem in others’ letters so I have never mentioned it but the varying length dedicated to individual requests and the varying number of prompts do not mean I like some fandoms less. I love them all. These are the six most favourite ones that made it on the list! ;) For some it’s just easy to say: I love canon, please give me more; and elsewhere I have lots of thoughts (~~looking at you, SEAL Team producers~~).

I've joined MultiLingYule and would be interested in fics in German, Czech or Italian.
It would be so cool to find fellow Czech fan/s. I've just dived directly into English fandoms and fanfic places so I haven't met many Czech fans. German is my first foreign language, I use it all the time and really like the language (especially its structure, word-building possibilities and looooong attributes). I think there could be some German speaking fans of Kommissar Rex (but could be of any other requested fandom).
And about Italian ... I'm still learning so some complicated deep thoughts or wordplays could be a bit tricky for me to understand but I'll do my best! I love everything Italian.

1) Judge Dee Mysteries - Robert van Gulik

Dee Jen-djieh; Tao Gan; Ma Joong; Chiao Tai

I'll be happy to receive a fic focusing on any of the nominated characters or any combination of the nominated characters or, of course, a fic including all of the nominated characters.
Also, feel free to include Hoong, Judge's wives, other canon characters... I really like Hoong so I would appreciate it if he’d still be alive in the fic should you mention him. Also, add any OCs you need – especially in a case fic.

I really like these classical, old-school crime novels (Poirot, Miss Marple, Maigret…). The plot is calmer, it doesn’t mean that nothing happens though; and moreover, Judge Dee books are quite full of action, but the narration is calmer, the plot is cleverly thought-through. In addition, in these books there is a lot of information about Chinese culture, history, way of life, art and objects of everyday life. I especially like all the information about tea drinking.

Prompts:

I’ve read all the books (and I mean books by Robert van Gulik not “books” written by Frederick Lenormand) so any prequel/sequel/missing scene/continuation would be great.
Case fic! These books are so clearly focused on crime solving that I can’t come up with any other prompt...
A story told from the First Lady’s POV
I don’t have any deep knowledge about Chinese culture (so don’t worry too much about absolute accuracy) but I’m always happy to learn new things, so anything with Judge Dee and Chinese culture, habits, art, history… would be great!
A story where Judge Dee goes on vacation (with his family?) or just travels somewhere and surprisingly no crime happens. What does he do when he’s not investigating?
Ma Joong, Tao Gan and Chiao Tai save the day thanks to the unique knowledge and capabilities of each of them. I especially like the clever conman Tao Gan.
Ma Joong & Chiao Tai’s strong friendship. Will it help them while solving a case? Will we learn something interesting about them?

I have to admit that for this fandom I cannot imagine any romantic plot or any ships (I mean mainly between the requested characters; romance for OCs (or OC/requested character) is welcome)

2) Kommissar Rex / Inspector Rex / Il commissario Rex

Richard Moser, Rex, Ernst Stockinger

I'd love Moser and Rex to be included in any case; feel free to omit Stocki and/or include any other canon characters - Leo, Hölleler, Böck, Max... (or even other canon characters from the original [Austrian] version even though the characters wouldn't be able to meet in the canon timeline, eg. Kunz, Marc, Niki etc.) I just love them all.

Rex is my childhood. I think it’s one of the first crime series I’ve ever watched. I remember coming home from kindergarten (!) and seeing my grandparents watching it and remember myself laughing about Rex’s shenanigans. Later on I watched full episodes :)

The series has everything I love: crime-solving, a great team, friendship, focus on investigation (no bloodbaths), humour. And on top of that there’s Rex and there’s Vienna. I LOVE Vienna. In my opinion it’s one of the most beautiful cities in the world.

Prompts:

Case fic. What will Rex surprise us with? How will he contribute to solving the case and catching the perpetrator/murderer?
Absolutely not a requirement but I’d love any references to Vienna, to concrete places there, famous buildings, to the history of the city, famous people living there…
Hurt/comfort: Richard is injured. How did it happen? At work? How is Rex helping? What is Stocki doing?
Richard and Rex visiting Stocki in Salzburg after he moves there with his wife. Do they help him with a case?
A funny story about Rex saving the day - doesn’t have to be a case fic at all. Maybe he finds the car keys for Richard or something ;)

I don’t have any shippy prompts here, I prefer the friendship dynamics between Richard and Stocki. I wouldn’t mind if you find an OFC for Richard, though. He is very charming indeed ;)

3) Ocean’s Eleven Trilogy (movies)

Danny Ocean, Rusty Ryan

I'd love Danny and Rusty to be included in any case; feel free to include Tess and Isabel and/or any other of Danny's friends.

Favourite ships: Danny & Rusty; Danny/Tess; Rusty/Isabel, Danny/Rusty

I’m not a film person, but these three films? I’ve seen them more often than I can count, probably.

Who wouldn’t enjoy watching George Clooney and Brad Pitt, right? And I just love all the clever long-cons, the suspense, the planning and teamwork. It’s always so interesting to see the planning of the con (I also enjoyed the British TV series Hustle, or the first half an hour of Columbo with the to-be murderer planning the crime) and yet still be surprised afterwards :) I also love the atmosphere of Las Vegas, descriptions of the casinos, of the games. (Though I have to admit I don’t understand card games much…)

Prompts:

Danny and/or Rusty having to cooperate with Isabel and the police. Whom are they trying to catch? Why?
A fic set before the first film and before Danny went to jail. What were Rusty and Danny doing?
Danny/Tess and Rusty/Isabel competing with each other. Maybe they are playing an escape game and have to solve or commit a crime?
Another heist, that’s what they can do best, right :)
Danny/Rusty. Friends to lovers; slowburn; domestic fluff…
Hurt/comfort. I’d prefer hurt!Rusty. What’s happened? Who’s taking care of him?

4) Pole Vault RPF

Armand “Mondo” Duplantis, Renaud Lavillenie

Feel free to include other pole vaulters too - Valentine Lavillenie, Manolo Karalis, Piotr Lisek, Pawel Wojciechowski, Sam Kendricks, KC Lightfoot, Christopher Nielsen…

(I’m not that big of a fan of EJ Obiena and Thiago Braz… though if you want to create some rivalry, they are perfect candidates ;) )

Pole vault is such an exciting and unique discipline. And all the athletes seem to get on very well and the Mondo & Sam and especially Mondo & Renaud friendship – in real life – is so heart-warming to see.

There are less than ten stories in this fandom so feel free to add what you want! Bonus points for mentioning Armand’s glasses! (Nope, the laser surgery totally didn’t happen ;) )

I love Mondo & Renaud as well as Mondo/Renaud!

Prompts:

Friendship, friends to lovers, slowburn. Maybe they are training and just hanging around in Renaud’s garden in Clermont-Ferrand.
Olympics 2020 (2021): there was all: the pressure and joy for Mondo, (the absolute joy for Manolo, the disappointment for Sam) and the drama and pain for Renaud. I’d love to read any fic based on these canon events. It was so sad to see Renaud in pain (otoh the h/c potential!!). And Mondo hugging Renaud after his last failed attempt and then Renaud being the first person to congratulate Mondo after it was clear he won T_T
Olympics 2024 – is Renaud still competing? (I certainly hope so!) Will Mondo win?
A humorous story including a fun way how to use the poles. Maybe they have to escape from somewhere.
I just love Renaud’s mentorship and their mutual respect and admiration. (Renaud saying about Mondo’s 6.21 WR at the Worlds: “Mondo asked me to stay there for him. I can’t say no to him.” AWWWWWWW)
Hurt/comfort. Injury recovery. Lots of comfort. There’s a perfect opportunity: Mondo’s WR of 6.23 and Renaud’s leg surgery in the span of a week. I’d love any friendship or shippy take on it. Are they texting each other, is Renaud watching the World Championship in hospital? Does Mondo rush to France immediately afterwards?
Fluff. They deserve it ;) Established relationship.

5) SEAL Team (TV)

Clay Spenser, Jason Hayes, Sonny Quinn

I'd love Clay and Sonny to be included in any case; feel free to exclude Jason and/or include other canon characters like Stella, Blackburn, Davis, Trent, Brock, Naima…

Favourite ships: Jason Hayes & Sonny Quinn & Clay Spenser, Stella Baxter/Clay Spenser, Sonny Quinn/Clay Spenser, Sonny Quinn & Clay Spenser, Jason Hayes & Clay Spenser, Jason Hayes/Clay Spenser

(In case of Sonny/Clay and Jason/Clay, I wouldn’t want Clay to be cheating on Stella. I’d prefer Stella just out of the picture altogether or Stella just being friends with Clay and never dating him or being a friendly ex-girlfriend)

Fandom specific DNWs: Clay's death, any references to Clay's death; mentioning the vet center; focus on canon storylines about traumatic brain injury; focus on Full Metal, Vic, Rebecca; making Ash pure evil

It’s so improbable: me falling in love with a military drama because I didn’t know much about military and army things and yet here we are. I’m hooked. I love Bravo’s brotherhood, I love watching these confident men who can just do anything anywhere anytime they want. I love Sonny & Clay’s friendship in canon.

Season 6 episode 8 never happened. Please don’t. No. ~~Take it back, I want a refund~~. Please use canon up to S06E07.

Prompts:

The feeling of brotherhood.
Clay & Sonny’s friendship. They are so different and at the first sight, it’s an improbable friendship - and yet they are best friends.
The classics: case fic, mission fic, undercover work. I love it when they plan the missions. Everyone weighs in their opinion, they quickly form plans, always have a plan B.
Or it could be more fluffy and light-hearted here - cooking together, moving in together…
SEAL Team is more focused on action and executing the orders but how would they fare with investigating a murder mystery?
And of course so many many hurt/comfort opportunities. What happened? Are they stranded somewhere? Will they get the help needed? (Unsurprisingly, I’d prefer hurt!Clay)
Injuries from a mission are the most expected but I’d be interested also in other ways how the poor boys could get hurt. In training? Or a “normal” car crash?
If you’d like to go the Clay/Sonny route, I’m in! Or Clay/Jason route. These fics are so rare T_T
I think that all of these four characters are so unique and fascinating that a character study would be awesome.
I loved everything about Manila and Clay’s injury. What if Bravo returned from the Philippines after the bombing and was there for Clay instead of Swanny?
What if “the very real possibility that your operating days will be over” the doctors kept talking about in 2x18 did happen and Clay couldn’t return to the field?
Or maybe the Manila injuries are acting up now, on top of everything else.

For Season 6:

Any of the nominated relationships/friendships under these hard circumstances.
There was a 3-month-jump in the events in episode 2 so what happened during this time, not only with Clay but the whole team?
Clay instructing the Green Team and…. Clay is such an intelligent and capable person that I can’t imagine he’ll be happy yelling at green team members and ramping up their fitness in the long run. Can you please find something more for him to do? He speaks nine languages wink wink
Could he be accompanying Bravo on some mission because of his unique language skills? What will this trip cause? Increase his (and Jason’s) desire for him to return to Bravo or will he make his peace with never coming back? What is Stella’s opinion?
Clay returning to Bravo.
I have to admit that I have a pretty developed fix-it AU in my mind (and in a wip) where Clay returns to Bravo even with a prosthetic leg. It’s the only way I’m able to deal with season 6… and I totally do get it that you might not share this view. So in this case could you please concentrate more on the earlier stages of the rehab and coming to terms with the amputation (like episode 6x2, 6x3, 6x4) instead of long-term career and life plans? (I would prefer fics that wouldn't directly contradict my head-canon in this case)
Though if you do share this view that Clay returns, I need to know everything about how it goes! In this case I'm here for alllll the AU - Canon Divergence and Fix-it Fic! I’d LOVE to see Clay become Bravo 1 one day.

6) The Diplomat (US TV 2023)

Kate Wyler, Hal Wyler, Stuart Heyford

I'd love Kate to be included in any case; feel free to exclude Hal and/or Stuart; also you can include Eidra, Dennison, Trowbridge, Billie and any other canon character

Favourite ships: Kate/Hal; Kate & Hal; Kate & Stuart; Kate & Stuart & Hal

I’ve madly fallen in love with this series. I can’t describe it less dramatically. It’s really the best and biggest discovery among TV series for me in recent years. I love everything about it, Kerri Russell, my beloved, from The Americans; the dry humour, complicated storylines, sneak peeks into the work of intelligence services, the allusions to real life politics and events, the banter between Hal and Kate, the way how competent and professional and badass they can be.

Prompts:

I need to know who was behind the attack at the HMS ship. Trowbridge? Russia? Iran? These were the possibilities discussed in the series. I wouldn’t rule out eg. Saudi Arabia. Though I have no preference and am open to any idea. I’d love to see a plausible explanation, delivered in the style of the series.
So…. the explosion. How are Stuart and Hal? I wouldn’t want both of them dying but I am not totally opposed to one of them dying. (Here my DNW about death of any requested character doesn’t apply) What is the aftermath of this event? Or do we get some h/c?
Kate as the vice president. I’d love to see any of these scenarios: Kate as vice president with Hal at her side; divorced Kate as vice president or widowed Kate as vice president
At the beginning, Kate was supposed to work in Afghanistan, hadn't the attack happened. I’d love to see her and Hal there.
I’d love to see some hurt/comfort. Could be Hal after the explosion; Hal mentioned during the lecture that Kate was injured in Bosnia or you can imagine anything else.
Fic set in the past when Hal was the ambassador.
I’d love to get a closer look at Hal and Kate working with the intelligence services.
I love all the intricate plans and surprising twists.
